Default Bringing Down the House

Well this is the newest project. Its going to be entered in the october/november movie themed car competition. So im theming this car of the 1967 camaro in bringing down the house. Mainly because i cant really think of any other movies that have a 67 camaro in them lol.

Once this contest is over, this paint job will be stripped down back to nothing, and be repainted along with my real life camaro to the matching color.

So heres the start.

The $5 Camaro body.

2nd Coat of paint.

Body parts in almost their final stage of paint. (ignore the TC wheels, they are for a Different project.)

White base coat completely done on the body.

Going to let the base coat dry over night, mask it off tomorrow, and then start shooting some orange.

When its all said and done this is the car it should resemble.

I love the white. I see you have some little particles in your paint, probably because you rattle can sprayed. After your finished coating, get some 1000 grit and sand those down, they can ruin an immaculate paintjob.

i dont see any particals? not quite sure what your talking about. the sides are not fully painted because they are just going to get painted orange. i really only need the white on the top because im going to mask it off, and use it for the stripes. the while everywhere was just a good base coat for the orange thats getting sprayed next.

well im scraping this project sorry guys. i dont have the patients or steady hands to lay stripes on something this small. plus i broke the hood. So im just going to put it away for a couple months, and when its time to paint my real camaro ill sand this thing down and spray it with the real paint.
