I used to have the same video card as you. It was pretty good. Nothing compared to mine now but I liked it.

Cool. Other than the fact that 1. quad core is useless and there is no noticeable performance gain. 2. you have vista 3. you have 32 bit vista which totally kills any performance gain at all. and 4. you have an ati. But other than that I can't imagine the money you blew on it.

check out my 8 year old comp It used to have around 200mb of ram so my dad upgraded with a 512mb but i think its leaking cus theres only 640...or maybe we started off with 100? it runs surprisingly smooth though..after i emptied out the whole comp and reinstalled window on it . I used to have a Toshiba laptop but it broke in a couple of years. Good ol' dell... of course it won't run any fancy games but it'll run most of the free ones

Ok i have the showstopper. I still have my 2nd pc, IBM aptiva, 233 mhz 3.2 (huge) gb hard drive. Bought it brand new...1,600.00. It was as good as you could get "back in the day". A year after it came out the "experts" said that 666mhz was as far as processing power would ever go. I live by the phrase "you are meddling with powers you could not possibly comprehend"

my god, I was betting that you were around 50 but i guess computers are relatively new . I do recall our household having one of those white-ish computers when i was like 6, in the times when the apple logos weren't as boldly placed on computers as they are now

Right behind you!
We still have a 266mhz Pentium II with 32mb of RAM and a 4.6gb hard drive! I know it was almost 2 grand when we bought it! Man does stuff change in 10 years.

blurry cuz I had to resize it from the oringal 1200-something by something else, down to 800x500.
I had the program up cuz my BG isnt appropriate right now, and I was too lazy to bring anything else up.

Got a new laptop, so I'm resurrecting this thread.

I'm too lazy to upload a screenshot right now, so I'll just copy/paste info on it.

Windows Vista Home Premium
SP1

Hewlett-Packard
HP Pavilion dv2700 Notebook PC (Special Edition)
AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-60 GHz
4GB RAM
64bit Vista

And now I can bad mouth Vista, since I've actually used it now...
Remember back in some other thread I said Windows asks you to confirm everything?
Well, turns out its true.
Everytime I try to do something, it says "Windows needs you to verify this action"
