Default Datsun 510

LOL. you guys must be annoyed that I almost never finished any projects I've started. My friend who lurks here is xD. Let's see, there was:

-ER34 Four Door Skyline (i pretty much finished, never made a bumper for it. its technically done)
-350z Nismo (i stopped because of a pesky hood and sideskirt. its not dead though, just taking a break)
-R33 Skyline (has become pretty much obsolete. im going to have to rebuild it in the summer)
-Amuse GTR (lazy. in the mini-micro section)

AND NOW there's a datsun 510. I wanted a model 510, but i havent been able to come across any model within my local walmarts, nor do i have the funds to buy one off ebay. (what are the specs anyway? does it fit 94 or 98mm?) if someone has one, maybe we can negotiate something. :3

anyways, here's my HONSUN 51VIC.

Far from done, but this will be easy to make..I hope.

I'm no Dr.Kustom, but I aim to excel.
These are gonna be the last updates for june. July and august ill be going full out on these projects.

As you can see, massive putty / sanding was done. and im still nowhere near done, but this is better than anything.

Constructive C&C, or just simple feedback is appreciated!

Your idea is ridiculous, I love it. By chance do you have a Hobby Lobby near you?

Update!
more putty, and primer.
some pics to show the smoothness and flatness of the putty on each side.

Here's a little comparison:

Thanks guys for the support! Keep it coming ^^

Update:

Since my internet connection got cut (ahem*blametheneighbors*ahem), I wanted to make use of the
time I was allotted, as well as kill the boredom I have. So I worked on another project (HKS Altezza, will be up in a couple days hopefully)
and the datsun.

Here I did all the measurements (using nothing but my ruler, math skills, and an old 510 hotwheels model as a reference.

Laid out on the plastic I use for most of my modelling. (I don't have styrene, tbh.)

etching and cutting and fitting from here on.

Its just a mockup; i'll be sanding down quite a lot to get it to look decent. ^^

@ Floyd, I'm going to do just that. It is too tall even for my taste, so this will be sanded gradually until it has the right fit.
