Default How to mount Gen1 bodies on an EVO chassis

How to mount GEN1 Bodies on an EVO chassis:

tools:
screwdriver
gen1 body
EVO chassis

Step 1:
clear all wires out of the way so you can get access to the motor mount screws

Step 2:
unscrew all screws connecting the motor mount to the rest of the chassis

then turn it over and remove the bottom screws that connect it to the rest of the chassis

Step 3:
remove the gray spacer

move motor mount foreward and replace all screws

Step 4:
put clear clip on gen 1 body (i didn't have on eso i used the firebird one

Step 5:
take the EVO chassis and the gen 1 body and put the clips where they are suppossed to go.

then you are done... ENJOY

sorry about the blurry pics i'll take some better ones later. ENJOY

thanks,
MC4L

Thanks man! That makes my life sooo much easier...I spent 3 hours trying to figure it out using the instructions that came with my black RSX body it just said to replace the front clip and the clip on the roof of the body and yeah...I finally just gave up. So thank you for giving me hope again! lol
