well just me, but i don't really trust litiums from anyone but atomic mods and XI just because liths are delicate things. they are far less durable than normal batteries and because they could potentually be a fire bomb, i don't trust anyone else to sell me them.

A few years ago I bought lithium from Jawdropracing I believe. Right now it still works like a charm. It just really depends how well you treat them.

... but you can run lithium on stock fetts just fine, let alone stacked.

i installed a stock board that I got from XXXmodder and it seems to run fine.. i haven't ran it for a long duration though... I've been running it for a little bit on the carpet and feeling the fets to make sure that they're not too hot but then again i don't know how hot they're supposed to get... but so far so good

I just got two chargers and three lith packs and they have not given me any trouble at all. Matter of fact I will be buying more in the future as they seem to work pretty good.

I ordered a li-po no drill set from Atomic Mods and haven't had a problem with it (I love that site, wish they had more for a gen 1 though). Though I did screw my board up when I tried to fix a bad connection where the lights plug in, but that's another story. I am getting a new one with a 2x2 stack, but that wont matter once I get a V2 board. I did not notice any heat coming from my fets. I was told that the stock fets would not be damaged by the li-po set. I also heard that if you use a 12v power adapter without a charger you will fry your li-po batteries. I didn't want to take the chance so I bought the charger too. Works great.

Word of caution when dealing with Supracing. I bought a switchblade chassis from him and got a shipping confirmation that only said that the seller has made an electronic notification to USPS, but has not dropped off the package. I emailed him about 20 times over 2 weeks, then had to call him to get it shipped out. He has a lot of good products, but beware you might have to get his number from ebay and call him. I might have been one of the unlucky one's that have had this problem with him (he has a 92% positive rating, with a few people that have had the problem I have had).

Sorry if this is a long post, but just want to try and help out an Xmodder in need.

The charger I have is rated at 500 mah. Not sure what the max to have is, but the batteries I have are rated at 780 mah. I'm guessing I would want to have the charger at the same rating or lower.

If the seller has more than 10 of the same item on sale then it isn't very good quality. Since they hastiliy put them together and mass make them to make a profit. very good ones are handmade instead of hastily smashed together. im not sure about the charger but i know the Li-Po's are hastily put together and aren't as good quality for example BLT's work. They work but they probally wont perform as good as better made li-po's.

I don't see how you can hastily make a battery pack where the same steps are involved.

Bulk order the batteries
Solder in series/parallel
Slap on a micro dean on the end

Atomic mods is simply too expensive. I know their lithium kit is superior but I can buy 5 packs for the same price at supracing, with or without chargers.
