hey aero, i forgot to ask: is it hard to build the chassis, or just time consuming? (or neither. *crosses fingers*)

Nothing is hard. Everything is time consuming. Like, the chassis was really easy, and not very time consuming, but the axles, for example, were time consuming because of all the parts.

Not a crawler though. A scaler, meaning it replicates a 200MPH Jeep JK.

Take one turn and its roll time! I can see it doing endless rolls......over and over again. Better have a nice roll-cage....

Got my scale shocks in today. They are 85mm, and the flex is pretty scale. It flexes more with the body on.

Went to Ace Hardware today and tried to find M3 rod, but they had M4 and M5, so I did the next best thing. I cut off the M3 screw heads of some screws, and used the rods to extend my wheelbase to my desired 13" position. I did this because my previous extension using 4-40 rod was weak and bent easily. This method is way sturdier.

]Its got some good flexibility. Its like one of the jeeps you see on the commercials you know? Like out by a lake, surrounded with mountains, and on the rocks. Pretty sweet.

Thank you. I don't want to scare newcomers to the hobby, but the way I have mine set up (tires, electronics, etc) can add up to that much.

You can get the Axial Scorpion RTR for $240, get a HPI Jeep body, and call it a day.

But that's not good enough for ol' AeroSynch.

Looks great, Aero. Needs some lights, though, in my opinion.
