Default Slash and MERV gone..

Traded them off for a couple of E-Maxx's.

Traded the Slash for a basically stock 3906 Maxx with steel CVD's and center shafts (older style 2 speed model) that's in pretty good shape. It should be here by Thursday.

And the MERV got traded for a 3905 Maxx with a Novak BL system, and plenty of RPM goodies. No idea when it will be here, but soon I hope!

I got tired of the 2wd in the Slash, and the smallness of the MERV. I think these should do the trick, really wanting to try out the 2 speed Maxx, sounds like it's going to be fun having different gearing.

How many E-Maxxes are you getting?

Got any Slash parts left over?

Always thought the slash was 4wd... or was that the nitro version? I was really thinking about getting one a while back, but decided not to. Those E-Maxx's are good to though, sounds like a nice trade.

I never was able to get the vid.

I figured out what I needed to make the LiPos work with the MM in it, and at the time couldn't afford to order what I needed to I just ran the stock system and put the MM to the side.

I wanted so bad to get the MM running on some 3s LiPo in there, that would have been wicked! The whole go fast thing got a little boring for me though, mostly because I don't have the money to constantly keep upgrading and making it even faster. The MERV wasn't that great for anything other than really short grass or pavement. And the Slash would have been so much more fun if I had a track to run on. I think/hope these two will suit my style better.

lol, getting two Maxx's total. And nope, all the Slash's spare parts are gone too. Only thing I have is the stock waterproof XL5 ESC and a burned up Titan.

Bullets, your thinking of the Slayer. It's the nitro 4wd version of the Slash, Traxxas just came out with a electric 4wd Slash though, I want one really bad.

*Gasp* you double posted!!!

Yea I wish I would of gone with a truck or monster truck nitro or electric instead of my Exceed Hyperspeed buggy... I mean ya it's cool still but Its really only good for pavement or dirt.. and with no tracks around here that I know of it makes it not very fun. I might sell it eventually and get a 1/10 rock crawler or a 1/10 electric truck.. But I always liked those Slash's/slayers!

And, I present.. the E-Maxx's!

3905 (newer version) on the left, and 3906 on the right.

Pop can for size reference, these things are HUGE compared to the other two I had.

Bone stock electronics wise, has aluminum skids and front bulks, and RPM rear upper arms, and steel CVD's throughout.

Novak 4.5T brushless, aluminum skids and rear bulks, RPM true trac rear arms, and RPM front arms, along with RPM shock towers and body posts.

I think I did alright considering these were straight across trades.

I've been enjoying the 3906 quite a bit, ran a full cycle through it yesterday. The 2 speed is pretty sweet, hope I don't tear up the tranni or servo.. good thing I have another tranni for it. It makes a **** good crawler too, was crawling over rail road ties, going up steps with it.. need to glue the tires though, the rims were spinning inside them. Also, forgot to mention both trucks have locked diffs front and rear.

The 3905 still needs a bit of work, need to get the motor hooked up and the second servo back in it, and solder on some TRX connectors when I get more. Ran out putting my last two on the 3906.

I think the 3905 is going to be sweet with that Novak, I can't wait to see what kind of power that thing has.
