GTR painted touchups in progress. the masking tape didn't stick as well as i wanted it to and i'm also gonna grab some scratch-x to get rid of the orange peel :

nice cars. do you race your tt01. looks like either you are keeping weight down with plastic parts, or you don't buy aluminum. i wish i could take my 1/10ths on snow, but unfortunatly, they are all pancars. absolutely no ground clearance... also carpet foams are not the best for grip on ice and snow

i like the xmod bmw 3. im actualy thinking of buying one. is that another bmw e30 on your tamya? looks like it but cant tell from the snow...

it's the bmw e30 shell. and what're you talking about? i don't have a bmw xmod the rally car and the street drifter you see are both the same car
and yes i am into the JDM thing
i don't race because there's nobody around me to race against. i also drift a lot when there's no snow, but i migh totally make this into a rally car. it's fun, and i have it all set up for it. i need longer shocks though. the ground clearance of my tt01 is 2.5 times that of the stock ride height (which is about 1cm)
hell, my tto1 is all stock except for my rally mods: cut off suspension restrictor, moved the shock for more clearance
DIY skid plate under the front bumper
DIY inner body and mudguards.

the best thing about running in snow is that after the run, you bring it inside and all the sno melts off and dries by itself, leaving barely any dirt it's like washing :P
i really need to touch up my GTR tho. it's killing me how the masking sucked.

Very nice and love the way your r8 looks with those rims. I actually have my r8 and 370 sitting on gen 1 chassis and they fit them well. But you should put up all your cars even the ones not on a chassis. In any case great looking collection.

lol i run my r8 on a gen1, but i tried the 370, wheel placement didnt match up too well, and i didnt want to shave the fenders

I don't know why, mine works fine and it is actually on a gen 1 lith chassis, maybe that has something to do with it. I'll post pictures eventually when I put up my final collection thread.
