prepping stock body for painting
how do u get rid of the finish on the stock body or prep it for paint with tamiya or testors enamel spray
im used to painting unpainted z's so i dont have to worry about stripping them please pm me or post here sorry if this is a repeated question its just idk where to look ive googled it and everything

most people use a fine grit emery paper, i use a plastic etch primmer save on all that sanding

i use 400 grit sand paper on xmods to get the finish off and "key" the surface to get the paint to stick.

i poured acetone on mine sounds stupid but it works quick just dont do to much or it will bubble the plastic if ur scared to do much put it on a swab
you can also use pvc pipe cleaner which if you read the ingrediannt list is actually acetone concentrate which is stronger
