Taking it to the dealer tomorrow for it's first service (only has 5k miles on it). Better safe than sorry I guess, belts are due to be changed.

Oh god that is pretty. I'm not usually a yellow fan, but I'd rock-it.

So this is what you were braving sno-pocalypse for.

fast by Ferracci carbon fiber slip ons will be here friday. Then its off to the dealer for the first service (quoted at the not so cheap price of $1,050.00) Time to buy a manual and work on this thing myself next time. I would have done the service myself but I want the dealer to go over it right the first time and make sure all is correct.

Pipes are on, first service done, belts changed, springing for new tires and trying to find a mono tail. Dealer said the air filters were deteriorated from sitting (5k miles in 8 years) and I got a side-stand bypass switch. Guess the kids wont be going to college. One interesting note I found in a book I bought, there were only 90 998 duo-posto ducatis in yellow produced in 2002. Pretty cool to have one of 90. (does nothing for the value but still kind of neat).
