There's a 5v relay,(hence the 5 cells-nimh) and the 4 Li-ions kick in after the relay has over 5v, 5v goes to the esc, while the 14.8v goes to the motor.
You better run a 130 size servo motor, or that thing will fry.

Just use 3 Li-ions..

HERES AN IDEA:
Don't use the relay, and wire the li-ions to make 2 kits!

these kits sound dagerous, that much power to your motor is dumb
