not really you use a really high grit paper like 1200 or higher and sand it then buff it but I normally do that after it's got clear on it for more of a shine like a new car.

this is a two tone i did last month with just black and stock color. It needs some work but she looks real good from a yard or so away. lol

uhhhh IDK what airbrush or thing u got that u painted that car with? cause mine was kinda cheap and it didnt do that good of a job so i bought another one from wally world for 20.00$. that may be the problem. Also are you mixing diff. kinds of paint? i.e. acyl.+ enamel? that will do it.

ok dude paint in a dry warm area..like out side on a warm sunny day..

ok paint it and then once paint is layed and dryed fully add your clear give it a few light coats then once fully dryed start your wet sanding

now take a bucket of warm water and add a little bit of dish soap

now when sanding dont consintrate on one area and stay away from the edges because the paint is thin there.

then once done and its fairly smooth add another coat of clear..and repeat the wet sanding and coats till its nice and smooth..use like 2000 or even 3000 grit when smoothing out
