New Mini T
Well, after tearing apart my mini Baja and buying lots of aftermarket stuff, i had enough parts to make a sweet mini T, so i went out and bought one yesterday...here it is stock...they dont look very mean out of the box
here it is with the new body, new rims/tires as far as performance, i wont be doing much with it, as its just for play and i want it to remain controllable heres what im putting on it tonight Venom Fireball Motor Integy 60T spur, 16T pinion Integy blue alloy front skid plate integy blue alloy battery tiedown |

I would stray away from Integy, I've been told that their iffy on quality.
Looks mean though. Got pics of the mad crazy one your building?

The body and tire/rim combo looks great, Suicide!
I like the color on your 1:1, too. Edit: Just looked at your MiniBaja thread.. did you buy a duplicate set of the body and tires/rims or did you use that stuff from the MiniBaja on this instead?

integy parts are pretty decent imo, the mad crazyone is going to get worked on tomorrow, i got all the parts in for it yesterday, finally! that bastard was expensive, round 600-700 dollars in it...at least this one is going to be controllable just to fool around with. the body/rim combo was going on the other one, but i got alloy rims for it and im going to get an airbrushed body for it to do it some justice.

Out of the box, mini T's suck compared to an rc18T, but i put $20 into this miniT and it would keep up with an rc18T easy...
the biggest downfall of the miniT is that the stock electronics are built together, the ESC and Receiver are built as one unit, so you can't just plug the ESC into the receiver, you actually have to buy a whole new one. this Venom Fireball motor is pretty nice, ill get a vid of it running tomorrow, impressed me. ps...ordered front and rear bumpers for it Last edited by suicide_star; 08-09-2008 at 11:19 AM.. |

nice! i am hoping for my lst to get in soon, then we could compare ares. but i wish i still had my mini (a lot of good times) but i hope ya have fun with it! and i think you can fit the insane 380 motors on the mini, if not buy a new plate for it.\
any videos of the mambafied one yet? edit: i thought you where going to put a mamba.. but i guess its a losi brand brushless. Last edited by mustanglover; 08-10-2008 at 07:40 PM.. |

here's a little update of my miniT, put in the venom fireball motor, i actually wound up with a 61T red GPM spur gear and a 9T losi aluminum pinion (tons of torque), team losi alloy aluminum oil filled shocks and i found some really nice bumpers for it too..its a tough little truck and hasn't given me any trouble yet, heres some pics...
