Default terrible grinding noise from rear differential!

Hey guys! I have an EVO Street chassis GTR (R35) and my car is very very slow. It also makes a terrible grinding noise. I have found the source of the problem to be the rear differential and have tried lubing it. It still doesn't work . I tried taking it apart to check the gears but can't. Any help here?

sounds like you probably stripped your rear differential spider gears. you can use a small punch or screwdriver to push the pin out of the diff and open it up to check. you can also glue it to get you by until you get a new diff. but when gluing the rear diff you will run into less steering response unless you have awd installed.
