XXX Project: Febuary COTM / Hummer

Well this will be my last COTM until August. It is open class and I'm gonna work with a Hummer. Of course I will do a CF chassis and Lith. You can just make some guesses as to where this build will go. I will be using LOTS of tamiya putty on this one. Here is a teaser photo to get your minds moving. Im sure you'll figure it out.

Let me know if you know anyone with a NIB (or close to NIB) Evo hummer, I don't even need a remote. So I guess it could be used, but I need it to have the full Hummer chassis and spacer and mounts. Let me know, thanks.

If you're going to do a military style Humvee I think you should get the H1 and do a custom mount, that would be killer. You're a pretty crafty guy I don't think it'd be too hard for ya.

I really like the idea and will be watching this.

And since I'm out of the loop or something, where will you be going?

One thing I'm really hoping for is an SUT conversion with sloped rear hatch on it. That would be pretty cool.



I never even thought of doing this for the short time that I had a Hummer. Now I wish I would have kept it.

Are you reading my mind, Also the front window will be modified, look at the army humvee windshield. The doors, pretty much everything. (You nailed it, but it will be desert not green)

sweet. are you going to somehow make real beadlock wheels? if you made real beadlocks, that would be sweet! looks like a good project. its about time someone did a hummer that isn't all crapped up with chrome and "bling" galore...

Well I have most of what I need now, thanks to Blackdragon and a few others who I got some of the stuff from. As soon as I finish the 2 CF chassis that Im doing for a couple members I will get right into the Humvee.
