You going to need GPM... Lots of it. A FET upgrade or even a external turbo [Spider V3, V2.2, Bug V1 etc...] but before going in that, know how to solder it, or get someone else to.

you've got 3 days get get some pics up and more in depth ideas before this thread is closed, if everybody made a thread everytime they had a plan for an imaginary Xmod, this place would be much, much harder to to find good info on than it already is.

the problem is i dont have anything done yet, to show just a generation 1 untill i purchase some stuff, i can paint the chasie and take a pic if it helps, sorry for the problem, btw are there any motors with nihm batteries that can compare to stage 1 with lipo?

ok i have a motor i believe from a general lee rc, but i was thinking i could use the magnets because there realy strong what do you think? would it make my car faster?

stronger magnets=slower and more tourqe, more off an offroad motor

nevermind then thanks, im going to take out the electronics and take a picture its goin to have hobbygrade electronic, it may be a long project but worth, it this might be the ultimate xmod.

i thinlk i might buy a stock micro t rip out the electronics, to use in my xmod, then later on put brushless in the micro, what do you think?

Brushless is bad *** BLT made a very very nice brushless, its a lot of work to get it to fit on a Gen 1. DMG 2006 also did a brushless. Good luck on this one, micro-t elecs and a brushless motor should be great.

i think your plastics will break and the gears will go to hell if you go brushless with an xmod (unless you get stronger gears like stuff made of derlin)

you dont understand i ment put the bl in the micro and use stock in xmod, but i wached a hobbygrade race today and its going to be hard to play with xmods lol i might be getting out of them if any body wants something pm me,

im stuck, where does the yellow peice with the barring that the drive shaft goes threw go? i think it goes in the front somewhere but dont know exactly where?
