Default Marines + Hobbies = WOW!!!

Had a little fun shifter cart racing at Bandomeer Speedway today. You'd be surprised by what they show up with when they are told to bring their "toys"

Your first image has been left as a link seeing as how it exceeds a width of eight hundred pixels. You may either leave it as a link or shrink the image and replace the tags.

Cool pictures. Looks like a fun time.

You can have one for 100,000k + shipping. On eBay. And of course the tool kit is what your paying for, the car is a "thank you" for buying it.

God... your one lucky guy. Have anymore pictures of that Ferrari 360 Modena ? But in one of the pictures, looks like those exhaust stick out a whole bunch. Either way, got a sound track of it ?

How much more stupid can he get ? I'm pretty sure it can't be that hard. Maybe he should give me his gift when he bought his tool kit... Just a suggestion. Can't wait for that sound clip.

Btw, you posted the same post twice.

Bandimere Speedway you mean.

Been there a few times for the Super Chevy Shows, used to live near there. God I miss it.

That Ferrari is gorgeous.

They don't, Ferrari whore's their names onto a lot of things.

But really, is that ALL one needs to work on a Ferrari? 4 wrenches, 2 screw drivers, and some pliers? Plus I didn't know that Ferrari owners knew what tools were, or how to use them... although many are tools themselves. Certainly cruising the boulevard with the tan-bed goddess in company can't be that hard to require on the spot maintenance.

Suppose I need to quickly change the alternator belt as it broke on the freeway:

Uh... (holding Ferrari embossed 10mm box wrench) where... is... alternator..?

LOL tex... I also find it funny that it came in a fancy embossed leather case. The alternator and all the belts are on the motor up against the fire wall ;-) I thought the same thing. What is weird is that there is a ton of hardware just running around in the rear quarter panels too....

Tex, its called triple A! But I completely agree with you. Top Gear did a short segment on embosed items. They put BMW, Ferrari, and Lamborghini logos on chickens, pens, watches, and a few other items. I can't find the video on YouTube, but the logo raised the price of things such as the chicken from 5 pounds to 5000 pounds.

you ever done it. I haven't, but I know a bit about the mechanics. they don't have a torque converter like an automatic. so you can't just give it some gas like you would on an auto. mechanically, they're almost identical to a manual transmission, except with none of the traditional controls. so you have to tell the computer what you want it to do, in a way you're not used to doing it....

yea, I'd be hella afraid of it too.
