Default Track Car Touch-Up

Many of you know that I have an evo track car. I'm just going to put some more stuff on it. I broke the rear diff gear so that needs fixing as well. I may go with atomicmods ball bearing differential front and rear, and their composite awd gears to match my cf shaft I made to put on it. I am also going to put even more GPM on it. Just got my aluminum dog bones.

It will be a Speedy 07 BB motor with a spider 4.0. You don't need a lot of power on a track car so the spider will be so the car has a wide spectrum of speed, and comfortable throttle.

The body will be a 350z body I acquired through trade. It will be white with blue headlights, and a custom wing

I need ideas on how to cover up the wing holes that the wing locks into. Any ideas? Any suggestions would help. The chassis plastic is painted black.

SO Far

I won't be able to control it on the track The blue black is pretty sick. My mini-z just got in, I wanna try it sooo bad, but my AAA liths are charging as I modify the battery holders to hold the humungo buttons on the AAAs.

Okay I got the 350z painted and here it is, one side was dropped so it had crap in the paint so i sanded it down to get it ready for more coats. The whole car itself needs 1 more coat and a gloss coat. I am using a rattlecan.

The side that was dropped -.- I am removing the eccess spray with nail polish remover, makes it come right off. Only some minor paint dents.

Have you filled in the wing holes yet? If not, find some small peices of plastic (tubes preferably) that fit well inside of the holes. Glue them in, and putty over them. It saved putty, and takes less time to dry.

Yeah I'm working on that, I'm going to radioshack later on today so I'll pick up some tubing and I have stuff in my dads garage.

Who likes the background ? It was at my friend mike's house.

I also have to sand down the paint lines, other than that the paint job was great. I wish I didn't drop it, ugh, it would have been all good.

make the whole car black. it'd just look so nice with the rest of your car.

The body looks nice, But for a track car, the body would be heavy, you should take off the widebodykit to save you some weight. But thats just me.

Great start though.

I bought the car with the body kit, so unless I can get some stock parts from someone, that is how it remains. I think I may use a nelly on this car and a spider on super car.

Okay thanks for the idea. Where should I get one? Off a model body? I may just make one if all else fails.

Looks good!
And I agree with XMD on the style, and I'd use cardboard as well.
When done right cardboard can look really good.
