Question Fried fets

Need to get the cars ready for the winter drags. Dose any one here repair boards? I have a couple that need new fets (2x2 or 2x3). Or should I just go with Spiders

For the minimal difference in cost there is between an upgrade stack of FETs and Spiders, I would go with the Spider. Most of the time they will outperform stacked FETs and will allow your Xmod to be more versitile (allow for "hotter" motors) for only a slightly higher fee. The cheapest I've seen stacked FETs go for is $20, plus shipping there and back and labor, while I've seen Spiders go for $30 shipped on eBay. However, if you're not comfortable with installing the Spider yourself, you would have to ship it to another member to do it for you.

Cheers,
Kyle.

i could install it for you if you'd like.
and yes the spider is a better alternative because it's so small, but is very capable. stacks are just good if you're going for a non-allout speed car(like if you want to run it on tracks without extra weight).
but the spider doesn't add a lot of weight.
the v2.2 however, i can't say that for...>.> my car's handling went plunk when i installed the V2.2 on mine

Spider 4.0 all the way. It is the best next to the nelly turbos, which are no longer in production. V2.2s are for dyno queens, the traces get hot and burn off causing problems.
