Exclamation Lights not working in reverse?

I've got my lights hooked up on my Mini-Z and they work great when I put it in drive, but when I go in reverse they don't light up. They do light up if I barely give it any throttle, but if I give it half to full throttle, they don't light up. Is this normal for Mini-Z's? Or do I have a problem with a connection?

That's not normal, sounds like you have some connection problems, and what kinda lights do you use on your AWD?

I have the same lights kit, and this is my way of connecting them, i put the red and black wires between where the PCB and the battery wires touch and screw them together.

Nice set-up. I just tried it out and now the lights are on permanently. Which is better then not having lights while in reverse. Now I have a new problem. The chassis is powered up even with the switch set to off and the front tires are turned over to the right. I adjusted the trim, but it didn't help to center it. I will try and figure this out in the morning. Getting tired. I just took the batteries out for now

All the stock Mini-Z have problem like that, my suggestion is that, turn off your car before you turn off the controller. Or upgrade your AWD to 2.4

Those lights look really nice, but it looks like the wires take up a lot of space under the body.

Do they make lights for Mini-Z's that work like the one's for Xmods? You know, light up when you drive, then light up when you brake and go in reverse?
