Default v.2 board.....quick question on it

well ive fried my range on my xmod its only goes like two feet away from me but i was also looking to upgrade it but thinking if it was worth it or not because of the crappy range but then i had an idea i could upgrade to a v.2 bord which would satisfy my upgrade need but would it help the range considereing that its a new board?

The v2 board regulates power and allows you to run more powerful motors, e.g. motors that due to the number of turns would fry a stock board.

However it doesn't have anything to do with range because all it is a bolt on to the main board.

If you have fried you range then you need to either replace the components or entire main board before even thinking about a v2.
