All the pictures are above are while i was un-boxing it. comes brushless, 2.4ghz, 4wd, all the goodies. Yep it is the new slash 4x4.

It can pop a wheelie on high traction surfaces(carpet). The front wheels get about 1-2 inches off the ground. Don't want to run it out side yet but will soon.

2WD and 4WD Slash bodies are interchangable yes? I might need one 2 :O

yea they are its just the same chassis, fitted with a shaft and a front diff.. nothing with tower changes

Same chassis dimensions you mean, the 2wd and 4wd chassis are nothing alike as far as design. Completely different trucks..

yea the chassis itself is completely different in terms of the way it looks and the design the battery spot has change.. idk about the servo sport i think it did, the design=different.. but dimensions are all the same.

Supposedly yes. The body posts are in the same location.

The towers have changed, more shock mounting positions, roll center, etc

it is a new chassis with many changes/improvements, the dimensions were kept the same (wheelbase).

have the location of the actual mounting posts changed too?

No they are not in the same location, hence why the 2wd bodies will fit on the new 4x4.

I don't have the 2wd version so i do not know. It is just what traxxas has said and others on the web have said.

I am so jealous of you right now! Looks like an awsome truck! I want to get my hands on one of those bodies to put on my original Slash. Not to fake it, they are just some rad bodies, with the number signs, the squarer fenders, and more realistic overall appearance. DOnt run it on snow covered streets. I havent, but I have heard that the salt residue will never come off!!
