A quick 6cell question.
I just recieved my 6cell kit, but honestly I don't see how it's supposed to fit inside the car. I've tried it with the Skyline and 350Z bodies, just resting it on top of the chassis and I cannot snap either body to the chassis.
Is there a trick to this? |

i managed to pull it off with my skyline, but it was a VERY tight fit. you need to shave the little nubs off that are in the roof. Also, make sure that your battery tray has as small a profile as possible (ie. shave off anything that makes it taller than it needs to be). I also took a small piece of tape and taped my batt tray onto the larger motor mount to prevent it from moving around too much, make sure the end of the batt tray and the motor mounnt are flush. Hope that helps and good luck!

This is a common problem - I have two 6-cell Skylines and an 8-cell Subaru Impreza - all of them took a little work to make fit!
Typically you need to snap off the mounts of the light kit found in the roof of the body shell then you need to do a little sanding to get it just right! Use velcro rather than double-sided sticky pads so you can easily move the extra cell holders about, eventually with a bit of tweaking you can make it fit!
