Why I've been gone.

So I've been gone a few weeks, not including my last suspension. I'm sure none of you were wondering, but if you were, here goes:

I was going to the park with my neighbors. It's about a block away, Just two intersections. Somehow, at the second intersection, we saw the boys in blue. But that was a bad thing, as a guy in a pickup was being chased. He almost made the turn, but hit us right on the front right fender. His truck spun and smacked the entire side of the neighbors' van. We slid up on two wheels and landed upside down in a ditch after rolling three times. I was the only one who stayed conscious, including the suspect, so I felt the worst of it. Three broken ribs, two broken legs (one in one place, the other in three), one broken arm, bruised my skull, got a minor concussion, and part of my liver was cut because one of the broken ribs basically shattered. I was in the middle right of the van, so I really had nothing but my seatbelt to help, even the door was a couple feet from me. None of my neighbors had seatbelts. The driver is paralyzed for life, the front passenger temporarily, my best friend literally lost his arm when the van rolled over it (he also broke the other and his back), and the other passenger got away with no broken bones, but became blind and may have developed epilepsy due to a major concussion, they're still testing her. So I'm still in the hospital, typing on a laptob. I'll be out of here some time later, they need to keep looking into my concussion and whatnot... Until then, wear your seatbelt and drive safely.

I doubt you'd find it on google. It was in the local paper, but I bet that's it.


And, yeah, it's all fine. The judge is making the guy pay for the van and everyone's medical bills. His truck was a 2004 F-150, already payed off. It's not totaled, just needs a new fender, door, front wheel alignment, and a new bed if it's ever going to look right again. It got taken in by the cops, and I asked them if they could just skip the auction and give it to me for the opening bid ($50). They said that due to the economy they'll probably auction it, but if they get enough other cars it's mine. So although the neighbors may sue, i think I'll stay out of it. (Possibly) getting a new truck and a great story is more than enough for me. Well, I gtg. They're sticking a needle in my foot and I bet I look awkward on an Xmod forum right now.

got some good news earlier today. they checked out my concussion and it turns out i should be perfectly fine. they say i'll feel nauscious for about a month and i'll have minor short term memory loss, they aren't sure when it'll wear off, but it isn't permanent. they also say they're done opening me up (got some screws in the worst leg and they've been getting daily blood samples. still not exactly sure why they needed the blood). they aren't telling me when i get to leave (i said i wanted a surprise, it feels better when you don't wait for it), but it should be soon. i also asked my mom to bring up the wheelchair i'll be using, just wanted to see it. i printed off the Gulf logo and taped it to the back of the seat. yeah, nothing more satisfying than that.

not much, mostly subtle things, like tv shows and the doctors' names. i did forget to finish my lunch once after i put it down to change the channel, but that's the worst so far.

lol, maybe when i get home i will. just this morning i forgot my xms password. not telling what it is, but to me it's blatantly obvious. that was kinda creepy, seeing as i'll probably forget more and more simple things, maybe video game controls, but maybe even my address or something important like that. good thing everyone i need to call is on speed dial.

i would like it, but i'd just up and sell it right away. i'd rather have the money to buy a VW Caddy and a computer.

and for all of you who feel bad for me, don't. it's a neat experience for me. the crash was actually like a roller coaster, except it hurt. it's all just something you have to accept in order to experience. a weird view on it, i know, but still, it's been interesting. and the hospital's actually kinda cool. i just play True Crime all day and eat as much food as i want for free. plus when i get home i bet i'll get presents from relatives and stuff.
