wont go forward

alright, straight to the point, my barricade light kit wasnt working, and i just installed a regular light kit. i tried them, and the barricade kit didnt flash, it wouldnt go forward, the regular lights worked, and a wierd smoke came from inside. Now after i let it cool down, it wont go forward, and when i swith the motor tabs, it didnt work at all. so is the board fried, or can i fix it?

Look around for burnt spots to give us a better idea of what fried. Will it go in reverse?

if smoke came from inside.. probably the fets might be fried. one of my truck using a motor that was compatiable with it.. and it fried my fets still some how which smoke started to come from the board.

Yes it will go in reverse, and i really dont know what the burnt spots might be because this is the first time i looked at the board.

same thing happened to me and it was the fets

I had a truck whose board died after that. It's very unfortunate, and I freaked out, and ripped out the batteries. Unfortunately you've burned your FETs... something must've shorted.

So now you can:

-Replace the FETs
-Buy another board (?)
