weird power surges
on my first f-150, sometimes i would get weird power spikes, like i would have a max stage 2 torque set up, and all the sudden i would lose all torque, and have no topspeed, it would just keep going faster and faster. and sometimes i would have a 12 tooth speed gear in, and i would have a really low topspeed and a massive, wheelie popping amount of torque. WHy was this happening? i have no idea how or why.

Motor Caps have nothing to do with power surges. Motor caps are to eliminate all possible frequency noise emitted by the motor because of electronical arcing inside the motor. I dunno what AM told you, but that would be false information.

It's most likely your batteries. They're straining under the load, and every once in a while, the power flows for a second, or it locks up..
Could be glitching in the radio too, stuff happens.

I' think it could be the diff that doesn't work properly,it happened something similar, with my iwaver...I know it's a complete different model, but the problem seems similar.go for an atomic ball diff(that is adjustable).

but why would a 8 tooth torque gear make the motor have no speed limit, and no torque, and it would do it for about 2 mins at a time. Also why would i be able to do wheelys with a 12 tooth speed gear, and have a really slow top speed?
