Default April COTM, open comp entry thread.

Donziikid is away in the ocean on a luxurious cruise so I am going to try to wing this for you. Be patient with me. I in no way take credit for this wonderful layout that Donziikid has been using, i just copied it and changed some dates around

Please be sure to read all of the following rules and guidelines before making a submission. Failure to comply with any of the following rules could result in the pulling of your entry and suspension of your competition privileges. This applies to both entrants and voters.

If you have any questions about rules, guidelines or the COTM process, please post them in the April 2009 Discussion Thread or send them via PM message to Donziikid.

1bb. Any member self voting will have vote removed.

2. All entries are due April 30, 2009 at 9:00PM EST in order for the entrants to be accounted for and the voting thread to be created. One week will be allotted for voting. Voting will end on May 6, 2009.

3. As a reminder, voting is watched very closely. Anyone caught cheating will be instantly disqualified; infraction points could also follow, as well as a possible suspension from the website. All votes considered as cheating will be deleted in the final tally.

Meh, close enough. Thanks for posting BART; forgot to do so myself before leaving for the trip. Which, by the way, was amazing.

Cheers,
Kyle.

Two entrants? Is that all? Seriously? Open Class, guys. Enter anything you wish (as long as it's an Xmod)!

Cheers,

i'm in.
gonna be tricky with the enries so far though...

my entry is one of the cleanest H2 SUT conversions you will see.
i was going for realism as opposed to off the wall mods here.
kinda like i bought it from the dealer and lifted it,added the rubicon styling and went for the gusto.

even if i don't win,i'm **** proud of the outcome even though it isn't perfect.

so, let's see where this goes.
thanks for all of the thoughts and criticism throughout the build.
there isn't much point for a chassis shot since it's the same off-road chassis you guys have seen time and time again.
alloy/delrin where it counts,4x4,bumpsteer.etc.
YAY, I HAVE A CHASSIS PIC........

cheers,

Sorry, gotta have a chassis picture, Bondo. It's a rule.

Welcome to the competition Zippo and Bondo (once you get the chassis picture).

Tough competition here....but here's my entry...my first Xmod:

1998 Camaro

RWD Evo (Barricade) chassis

Body:

1/25 scale model body
T-top conversion
Automotive metallic red paint
Partial interior - dash, rear hatch area
Antenna relocated to rear fender

Drivetrain:

Stage 2 motor
Torque gears
Locked differential
Metal heat sink
NmH rechargable batteries

Chassis:

Battery tray moved rearward (for balance)
5-spoke wheels (upgrade kit)
Soft tread tires
Stainless wheel lugs
Wheel spacers (for width)
1.5° tie rod / steering upgrade
Front springs: stock (softer ride for control on regular asphalt)
Rear springs: yellow (upgrade)

And on a side note, this car isn't a shelf queen...I have put plenty of "miles" on it

.
