Default What to use to fill in a gap for a custom body?

Hey i started making a wide body for a Acura rsx and their are some gaps on the body i need help i don't know what to use to fill in those gaps i was thinking of using clay and using hair spray so it can stay together but i am not sure what to use in order to fill in the gaps
Please if any body nows please leave an answer or at least and idea

Clay and hairspray.... interesting....

Some sort of modeling putty would be better suited, Tamiya sells one that is commonly used and then there is miliputty.... those are designed to stick, hardening and hold up to sanding and painting.

How would u make modeling putty or where would u buy it and same for miliputty haven't really heard of any of those

i tried something like what you said hairspray and clay except i used playdough and poly cement and superglue
it doesnt work unfortunatley but hairspray and clay sounds good
as for the putty, they have only just started stocking milliput in my lhs but i am in the UK so there you go we suck :P it is normally with painting stuff

I was reading a page online and it says that milliput has to be mixed with something else and that single components are easy ear to use and but have some chemicals hear check it out this is the link

everyone up there is pretty much right on, but milliput is a 2 part putty, it comes with two separate pieces that mix together.

but what ever you do dont get testors contour putty! it cracks and crumbles and just plane sucks

I use testors contour putty & I have never had any problems with it. I use it on all of my projects for filling & body work & have yet too have it crack or crumble. Easy to sand & put down on plastic. But I think Tamiya millut putty would be the best thing too use though.

well i will use one of those two putty what i dont like about the millut putty is that u have two mix it and if the other ones i easier to deal with i rather use the other one i dont want to make my world harder

Thats my opinion every body has their own
