it tells you the different set ups in the instructions that come with it. I think basically if your running a straight shot you would want stiff suspension if your doing a curvy track you would want a softer suspension. A lot comes into play with that also including positioning your battery terminals to the front or to the rear and also your tires and if you have 2wd or 4wd

Suspension setup
Due to the point that the motor is mounted linear, the torque will try to lift the right rear wheel and compress the left wheel.
There is a point that the (takeoff) torque transfers to the front wheels. After the car gets going, the torque issues subside. If during your (race) you will be braking and speeding up, the torque issue will return, making it needful to pay attention to the torque issue. As for getting over it, I studied and read as well that you should put a soft spring on the right front and left rear, while keeping a harder spring on the left front and right rear. If you have a low torque motor, you can get away with putting a red on the soft side and yellow on the hard side. With a high torque motor, you can upgrade them to the yellow/blue. If you have a really high torque motor and lithium, you can put a double spring on the hard side and blue on the soft side. If that do not work, then do all blue around and put a rubber sleeve on the hard sides and let the blue with rubber (tubing) keep the pressure on the hard sides.
