Propulse diff
I got 3 propulse cars in a trade and need to come up with a stronger than stock diff, I have talked with Zippo and the best we can find is buying diff parts and building your own. Does anyone know of a stronger than stock diff setup that is complete and will drop right in?

RC18 ring and pinion sets bolt right in (Got tired of chipping them). But, I still had a problem with the ball diff MELTING with dual motors. Geared diffs would have been the sheet.
I forget the mods needed to make the RC18 diff fit, but it was nearly a drop in fixture. I think you had to trim it some to get the bearings to slide in the right position.

that setup you showed there he already has, along with steel tubes, they were fitting just fine, but he is wanting to get a complete diff, drop in.

the only rc18 diff pieces i have seen an issue with working in the propulse is the super mip diff outdrive tubes, everything else is drop in from what i can tell

I was going to say, I'm pretty sure the RC18 diff was a direct drop in. I was doing a lot of looking around at those when I had my Pro Pulse. Just at the time I didn't have the money, and not near the knowledge I have now..
I kind of want to get another one for some reason.. Zippo, give me my old one back.. just the way it sits now.

I was wondering if the rc18 diff fit in the propulse, this is good to know.
I have 2 propulse and 1 rc18 and I was too lazy to take them apart just to find out. I already put rc18 arms,c-blocks,front knuckle,rear carriers,shocks,and dogbones on one of the propulse. I was waiting to kill the stock propulse diffs before I tried replacing them. I have a steel diff gear and output gear in the rear of my rc18, and my diff has been holding up to some major abuse, from my 6800kv mamba and a 2s lipo. I'll be trying that set-up in my propulse with a 7800kv ezrun after the stock diff strips.
