Awesome! one of my favorite cars! Can't wait to see it done. What color are you going to paint it? What chassis length is that?

My dad almost bought an '87 celica back in the day. That would've been a cool car to have same for and Xmod but $35 wow thats a lot for a model. payed $15 for my Bronco thought that was a lot even for a newer model. But this car will probably still turn out very very SWEET can't wait for this one keep my eye on this thread

My dad was just about to throw away a sheet of plexy glass that is about 4ft x 2ft so I just cut out pieces and custom make my own clips and mounts. I don't even use an original xmod clip (except for the bronco proj.) I make them to the height that I want the body to sit and make it so I just pop 2 screws through the bottom for my front clip. Can maybe pm you a few pics if you want.

looks pretty good so far dude, it looks like a truck without the rear window, it kinda looks cool, i'd probably try to convert it to a truck and make it a drifter haha. looks great though, keep it up

Use the model kits tires on the xmod wheel. I got a similar tamiya kit and the tires that came with it were suprisingly grippy and stretched over the xmod wheel nicely.
