It will be hard if your not good at soldering other than that it shouldnt be just cut the wires and solder them where they need to go

If you can solder a regular Evo board, then you can do a Truck board too. Remeber the 3 seconds on and 3 seconds off rule so you don't burn your board.

To add to ch05's post, also keep in mind if you hve any solder loose or bridging, you're kinda screwed.
Soldering the wires isn't that hard...I recommend soldering the motor wires to the board while you're at it. Don t forget to take out your crystal and antenna. |

hey, when your soldering the motorwires to the board, they probably wont stick well if you use rosin core solder. If you do use rosin core solder or not, take a razor and gently scratch up the motor pads. this will give the solder something to grab onto. Hope this helped

Its not to hard i suck at soldering and i can do it in like 5-10 min. so give it a shot and don't let the steering servo wires touch or it may fry or not turn right. And if you fry it just buy one from rs and you'll be good.
Hope it works, chaoe. Last edited by xmodscarbon's_lost; 02-26-2008 at 04:16 PM.. |
