haha yeah get the essay out of the way first, i have one i have to finish up as well. it looks like a euro plate in the pic. since its all tiny and stuff i couldnt really tell

right essays done and iv done plenty of sanding on the body, its so hard i have so many old layers of paint its ridiculous.

im also going to try get all the arches and lips perfect but will take up til the weekend.

alright lads, i know your dieing for an update :P
so here it is....you will be shocked, and not in a good way

you will be thinking : OMG what have you done to that car!

but trust me, its all in the plan.

basically, body is nearly fully sanded back to original body, and ive had to reflush the boot, which you can see is done again but not sanded yet.

so this is the car in the flesh, oh i also ripped a part of the rear arches off, i want a new design any ideas?

i've spent time perfecting the lip on the front bumper, im in love with it now!

pretty sure bondo paints real cars for a living, so right about now is the time you can drop this whole thing admit defeat to a PROFESSIONAL. I believe you have just been pwned.

on another note, the civic looks great, the front end is awesome. i think it would look great if you mimicked the front fenders for the rear fenders and added a couple cooling ducts like before. you'd have a sweet GT class looking car.

C.I.V.I.C. that front bumper looks insanely clean, and with the hood and eyelids it makes it really agressive looking, i like it, maybe you could do something similar to the rear where there's just a big flare rather than a giant scoop since you already tore those off, it'd give it a more custom look as well, i always see the gian scoops on the rear

i think that is the way to go to be honest!
i really dont like the rear arches, because they aren't really realistic, but it looks way better then the previous arches i made.

ive got a predicament, if i were to widen the wheels, it would hit the arches unless i shaved them, but i dont think it will be strong enough if i shaved the plastic away.....anyone have an idea?

oh also, could someone find me a nice rear arch design that would suit mine please.....prefereably like the fron arch, im fine with totally ripping off and reshaping the rear arch.

let me start off by appologizing for that crap with bhouse, i'm not sure what crawled into his turd cutter or why he chose me but i'm sorry that it got dragged into your thread

for the rear arch you shouldnt need to rip it off and start over.
just use a dremel and open the arch up a bit.

if you open the arch it will allow a wider tire.
i'm guessing that it's rubbing on the top of the arch so when you start trimming the arch, take just a little bit more from the top.

with that much putty on there, your always going to run the risk of destroying it whilst driving.
i've literally watched putty turn to dust on impact so my advice would be to leave it on the shelf and get a junky civic shell for a couple of bucks on the BST.

no worries about that, wasn't your fault, some people just need to learn to respect others.

about the arches, it doesnt rub at the moment, i was jsut thinking because the wheels are really far in from the edge of the arch so i assumed that if i widened the wheels it would rub, but i would have to shave away the plastic which would make it weak.

what i meant when i said i may rip the whole arch putty off, was that the actual arch design needed to be redone so it looked better., not literally the archway semicircle, but the design of the rear arch.

First off lovely civic lovin the front bumper i see your having smaller headlights on the back. One thing about your skyline why did u fill in one of the rear lights? Oh and Bhouse just shut up. Bondo paints for a living and he paints for XI bet u dont huh?
