the lines are actually glue, from the hot glue gun, so sadly im gonna have to re paint the whole thing, so since i have to repaint it, i might as well paint the interior too, probably also black, just cause it'll be sick like that.

Have you given any thought to deep dish rims or using spacers/wider axles with the wheels already on the car? I like the conversion, but the track looks a little narrow for that body.

Why would you have to repaint it because of the hot glue strands? The lines don't look heavy enough to have bitten into the paint very much. You should be able to gently scrape them off with your finger nail. If it leaves a mark, regular automotive scratch remover usually does the trick---or so it has with my stuff. Good luck.

hmm that sounds like good idea, i think i have some red laying around too. thanks.
and no i havn't really given that, cause with these rims on it, if i push them out any further, the wheels with rub the inner fender and not turn right at the height it is at. so it wouldnt really work that good with out more modding. also the car has little imperfections here and there so i figured just repaint it now, sice its got those lines. i ll try to get them out first before that tho, if it doesn't work ill just repaint.

Can't believe im just seeing this thread. Great project. Is that the plastic from an xmod box that you used? How is the PCB underhood mounting going. Definatly get another paintjob on it, but wait till everything is done. I had to do that with my drag car Im building. Looks good. Ill be back for updates.

well ive got a sorta update here, ive figured out who im goin to mount the batteries and the board, next step is to start mountin em up, ive got some pics of the sorta mock up i guess you could say.

batteries gonna go behind the rear wheels much like a gas tank, they will be held there using a AA battery holder like the gen 1s battery tray but with AAs.

the board going under the hood, going to cut out the inner fenders and what not, to get it low enough for the hood to clear perfectly, then ill wire everything up and itll be ready for a re paint.
and now more pics.

theres also one other slight problem, and thats clearance with the motor and the back of the interior im gonna have to raise the rear end alittle bit.

I love where you chose to stick the board and the fact that you'll keep the interior intact. Finish her up!

yea this was the car i was talking about, it doesn't need much, just once i mount the batteries, then send it to you for wiring, then i have to repaint.
