It is a copy of a Mini-Z board.... the same as a mini-z board but it is black, not green. You will see them in some of my threads....... (Check the 69 GTO thread) it is a nice PCB for a lower cost then a mini-z one and is a middle stage between an iwaver board and a Mini-Z board (That's just from reviews, I haven't done any substantial comparisons). I have one in one of my MR02's and on several Custom Xmod builds. I think using an RV board or an iwaver board is the best option for doing the Zmod conversion....... you will notice a great performance difference from the stock xmod board and it isn't $90.00 ... they are about $45.00 a board, but have been on sale sometimes for about $25.00 .... But iwaver board is the cheapest at around $22.00 on average (sometimes $17-18) and is also still a great performance boost from xmod boards.
The RV board is a stand alone after market board.... meaning it hasn't come out of any particular RC, it is just a replacement for any RC using those types of boards.

oh, ok thanks is it FM or AM? but any how i think i amy have the answer to your problems with getting the smaller motor to mount in the can,
Note the holes, i am not sure if the width between the holes are the same but if they are, mounting will be much easier.

I am pretty sure the gearbox holes are 2-56 holes but ont eh dimension sheet it says 2m1.6 holes, IDk what that means though. The holes are 9 something apart, probably 9mm apart

but if doing a 4wd you have to shim the rear towers to make up for the difference in height that the black rear chassis would give you i will dig you some pics out of some ive done if that helps

Nice,I always liked the Racer/light theme on a chassis but one thing i always wondered, doesnt small debris ever get into the gears? OR since it's only a carpet, foam racer nothing ever happens?

Yeah, i started those, but Bret has to get all my info for the rear before I can finish the fronts. Ill keep you posted.... It will be a kit, that attaches easily to the front and rear and you can use MA010 knuckles, CVDs and Wheels. The parts will be made from black ABS plastics, similar to the old stencil chassis. the CF is just to expensive to cut...and I don't have time to add any CF hand cutting to the CF jobs Im doing right now (Like yours) besides I want this kit to be inexpensive to purchase becasue I think a lot of people may want it, and I don't want it to be a $40 upgrade... Im hoping to keep it at $20 or less if possible. The expenses add up to make them... material, CAD, set-up fees, cutting, shipping to me, and then shipping when I send them to people...... so, the ABS was the best option for the part, and I think I can keep the price cheap and still get my $ back, and maybe $$1-$3 tip for me each..LOL. I think Ill have about 15 sets made.. if my figures are right on how many I can fit onto a 12"x24" sheet of ABS.

The only problem was, that I originally designed the bottom plates as a 3D part, and found out the guy whos cutting for me cant do 3D (He can, but doesn't have a way to secure it to the table for 3D cutting) so I had to re-design it as 2D 1/16" thick parts, that will be bonded together with ABS glue to make the full part..
