Heck, I wouldnt mind building ppl a chassis like this. Now that Ive got all the kinks worked out of mine. Its just that most bodies wont fit. So either make it a truggy, or do the bed like im planning

Its gonna be sometime until it gets rollin again. Ill get another gearbox next time I order from towerhobbies, when I buy the servo for the DMX dragster.

If it fails the 2nd time, then Ill dump the idea. I think it was because I didnt really lube the worm gear is why it wore down, I dunno.

Their some old pinewood derby weights I found. I have 2 on the front of this S10 to keep the front wheel on the ground when articulating, and to also give the front some more traction

oo kk kool and do u think that my worm gear is done after around 1 hour of crawling with it without
grease? well actually ive grease all the gears but havent think about the worm gear. :S

It took me a long time to wear it down. Given I played with that gear box a few months before the S10 was actually in running shape.

What Im going to do with the next, is use grease and some graphite powder lubricant in a mixture and see what happens. I just think it was since I didnt grease that worm gear, that over time it wore down. But it took a LONG time to do it, while testing it
