How about the dogbones? The dogbones and knuckles had to be the 2 most broken parts on the evo. How about opening the motor for us winders? Magnet test maybe, and to see if the armature/comm is any different. I haven't checked my lrs in a long time. I should check this weekend. Any updates on upgrades? Tires? how do they compare? and the Rims?(the ridge still there?) Sorry for the questions but these might be important.

The dogbones are the same ones that came with the transformers, so they are already stronger than the normal evos. The knuckles are slightly different, Idk how much longer they will last over the evos... The motor is the same thing as the EVO, just with some glue slapped on to prevent loose wires/shorting out. No word yet on upgrades. The rims are ridgeless, but thats just the Mustang rims, who knows if the others are...

You know the ridge on the old evo wheels? Well these wheels don't have that....so basically there flat all the way around, instead of a ridge.

No I don't, but I know the Mini-Z has ridgeless wheels I believe. I was referring to my barricade with ridges on the wheels about the tires coming off. It only happen on rough concrete.

So they wont fall off >_>

Got any pictures of the ridegless rims? This would be intresting to see, and would open up TONS of tire possibilities. Using Mini-Z tires of course.

Ridgeless also gives you less ground clearance and less wear on the tire, or more life. And more traction.

Take off the tire on your car. Look at the rim. There should be a ridge in the middle along the outside of the rim.

Take pictures of your wheels, and post them up! There might be a small ridge on the inner part of the wheel....do they look like this???
