Please read through the thread, I already answered this question, anyways here's what I wrote:

Red looks awsome. Try drawing an interior on a piece of paper and glue it on. Dont do that. What are you planning to make the top out of? I would suggest toothpicks for supporting the roof. When do you plan this to be done by? good luck.

New sig! hows it look?

I'm actually creating a Pivot Point right behind the door handles using the screws from the suspension (because it has that shaft portion near the head) and paperclips (I thought about tooth picks, but paperclips are easier to bend/shape) to construct the frame, if it's too weak i'll probably reinforce it with the putty (though idk how well that'll turn out). Anyways, aside from that, I'm using actualy black satin cloth lol. it was like $0.33 at walmart for 1/2 a yard of it (deffinately more than what I need, but hey, if I ever made a S2000, I could make it a convertible now too lol).

Finish date? Lets not Quote too much on me, but I'm thinking the car body will be done next weekend approx. Saturday 04/12/08. From there, depending on school (since I'm approaching finals quickly), Probably that week I'll make a top.

P.S. I love your sig, I gotta make a sexy one soon, perhaps after the project is done yes?

Thats what I thought he meant, but just incase he meant something else I might as well ask. See I'm working on making windows outta the packaging plastic as a way of playing around with things, but I don't think I'll get to doing it much.

Yay! It's goning to be done soon! 33 cents for a yard of cloth is prety **** cheap... I think the putty will be too heavy and might collapse if the 350Z fell down off your TV, desk (or where ever you put it) I wouldnt reinforce it with putty. Mabye some more paperclips or toothpicks.

[SIZE="1"]Changed my sig again. Like it? Sig one or sig two?SIZE]

Well, I know some of you were expecting an update past this weekend, unfortunately I ran into some issues with the back piece and the putty so I'm gonna start that whole section over again. I did re-primer the areas I sanded and it looks about ready. Unfortunately, I dont know when I'll finish cause these next few weeks are Exams leading into Final Exams for me. So Hopefully they'll be updates soon. If not expect some Mid-May.

Thanks for all your support

Sorry to hear about the setback, Kaze.

On the other hand, it's better to do it right even if it might take longer. I'm sure this will turn out to be awesome with the time you are putting into it.

I'm really looking forward to see this thing finished!

That blows. Hope you didn't use Tamiya putty on that thing, if so, you're out of luck. It's illegal to bring into the country!

You're joking right? I have a fresh box here waiting to be opened that I bought a couple weeks back. Plus, I still have like a third of the box I bought when I started this project.

Anyways, yea, setbacks suck I just had my Calc III exam today, have a kinematics one tomorrow, then Electrical Monday back to back with Strengths of materials.... >.< oi the headache. lol I also have some other stuff I'll show when I complete this one, like this other body that I had to use a lil bit of putt on

Nope. No joke at all. Completely illegal. The guy told me it was illegal and I busted out laughing. I ,too, thought it was a joke. So hows the roadster going?

When did you find this out? Because I just got some from Hong Kong like 2 weeks ago [But I'm not going to use it anymore I don't like it very much.]

Anyway Kaze this is a very good project and I hope it turns out for you.

Great work Kaze

I wish I could give sanding help, but I don't have much experience with extensive body work. I have done a bunch of 1/10 scale stuff though (Lexan is easier to work with in some cases...)

For wheel styles you really have to go aftermarket: RS just didn't make many that looked good. HOWEVER I did like the ones that came with the 350 Z, and the ones of the NSX I put a silver lip on, and clear coated the matte black. Those were probably the best looking rims I've made (not saying much though)

good luck dude!
