Is that video with the s2 motor? that is faster than any of are gearboxes(i think?) because of the s2. I might try ptting a spiral hand wound arm in it with 45-50 turns. Really nice. keep it up.

Um... I'm not sure... But at least I won't worry about the motor dying on me like in my HS-55.

I am going to try a different armerature. THe motor doesn't burn out. You will need carbon brushes and neo's

The S2 works just swell for me... Why do I need carbon brushes and neos?

Just use the stock arm, the spiral does give off some torque due to the larger poles, but it also increases speed, due to more laminations.
Stock arms would be best.

It would be funny if someone put that hyper-torque 180 in a gearbox

We might have to try the 180!!! just joking. Some speed on the crawler is good. I want mine to be a bit faster with the same or more torque. Any ideas on how to?

chinesekid05: if the gearbox works with patroleum jelly than it should be fine

I'm not sure if you know this, but Vasiline and Pertroleum Jelly are the same thing... Greasy and helps extremely dry skin
