No they are Aoshimas with slammed rims. A little tiny update here - I removed the 6 cell, the motor was getting so hot, and it smelled up the whole room. I figure less weight is a good thing too. I mostly removed it for a DIY Mini Tuner Crawler motor that I'm gonna try to get!

Well anyways....should have some updates of the body maybe tonight or tomorrow if I can get the drill working.

Wow still no updates on the body. I really need to get with it don't I!
I decided that I'm not going with the DIY Crawler Motor....
I was just outside running it, and just kind of followed some little water erosion paths. It did awesome! It was just running on 4 batteries too, which were half way drained. I think I will put the 6 cell back on, because it only flipped because my driver error. I like how the radline motor has a high end because sometimes I like to kick up dirt, and it will be more scale that way, since this was not really suppose to be a crawler. I figure with the articulation mod, it gives it way more articulation then I'm gonna need.
I ran it on my little course I made outside a month ago, and it was even a challenge for it on low batteries....climbed over everything.... I'm proud of it.

I promise updates over the weekend on the body!
What do you guys think about the 6 cell?

Hmm....I wonder if it is just normal, or if it is a bad thing. With stock power I don't get a smell at all, it just gets pretty hot. This is why I am also kind of wondering about the 6 cell. I don't want to blow anything.

i have another radline motor on my hummer offroader aswell but it has stock rechargable batteries.it will soon have lithsand i will let you know if it starts to get hot and smell, then we will know we have a problem.the only solution is to get a mini fan like XI has but they are sold out.

Scion, I think its ok to run it with more power. I was running it today, with 6 cells, and only got a faint smell when I stuck it to my face. I was outside and its pretty cool outside so that could of helped. Well, I guess my batteries were low too. The motor sure gets **** hot though.

I'll take some pics after dinner of the body. Also, if any one knows, when running two light kits, with a 6 cell, do you think I would still have enough power to off-road?

Body Update

Woot got the back bumper, front grill, and front lights on. A lot of work don't you think?
I had to hand paint the tail lights and turn signals...the rear ones aren't on yet.

Will hopefully have more updates tomorrow. Got to work more on the light setup.

I these mirrors are fine. They go with the rest of the body, and are made for it.

Ok, I was working on the lights, I had to cut them, run them through the front grill, and then resolder. I went to test them and they are not working. They are the Command Logic lights. The taillights are working just fine....so I am wondering if it is just my soldering job or if I messed something up....any ideas? I'm gonna redo the connections in a few minutes.

EDIT:
It was my solder connections, witht he wires being so small, they didn't contact good enough. I fixed it....its gonna look good.

Guys, I think I got a problem here. I am trying to run my truck to test the lights, and noticed how slow it was running. It couldn't be the batteries...they are fully charged....and its on throttle trim. I took the wheels off, to see if they were rubbing. Same speed with them off....I took the front/rear gears out, to check them...they are fine....so still the same speed. I do notice that when I run it at this slow speed while holding it...Its smelling like a faint burning smell...
Everything is wired right, it has a 6 cell on it. I don't know if its my motor or not....it was just running fine a few days ago. I reall think something is binding with the gears....they are kind of hard to turn, with the wheels on, and just pushing the gears with my fingers....

Any ideas or help?

Thanks...

I don't think its the gears, I took the motor out, and they turn fine....when the motor is in...its hard to turn.

you might have fried the motor. not hard when running the six cell for a while. try out a different motor and see if its something there. otherwise it something wired.

Yea, I'm taking the motor apart now. I found out that it is most likely this...it doesn't want to turn in the case at all! It looks fine though....I wouldn't know what a fried motor looks like though. I thought it took longer to fry a motor then that...only ran this thing like 10 times with a 6 cell on.
