Then I would suggest you to use the plastic drift tires instead of rubber tires. Those BBS style rims are nice, but it doesn't look as good as the Tagu rims.

Go back to my last post.. I found those rims online... check them out. I think someone had them milled from plastic just like the XMod RS drift wheels but they have a nicer rim... euro rims. check it out real quick and let me know what you think.

Yea, I saw the link earlier, I've mentioned them in post #39. They do looks nice, but it doesn't really go with the R34, wouldn't look too bad on the RSX though, just my opinion. One thing I don't really like about the RS drift tires is that the tires are so round, not that it will show a huge difference in drifting, it will just feels like you're running on negative cambers. I don't really like how the RS drift tires looks either.

Yeah they are horribly ugly.. Maybe i can try making the Pvc tires for a better set of rims.. I can always dremel off the ridge on the rim

what about 2 rings of black ABS pipe and a gap where the rim ridge is? that could be pretty interesting as the groove in the abs surface would give you more grip if you need it.

Just a few updates..

1) I made a nice CLEAN half top cover... I smoothed all the edges with a file and it is cleeeeean.. Also made a custom vent for the left side from the scraps to cover the hole in the cover.

And here it is when on the chassis.

And the power plug fits nice in behind it and holds it tight.. Im really happy with this design.

And here is the car with the Xmod Drift wheels/tires.... I actually like them a lot more now then I ever did before. The purple discs and nut help make them blend in and pop. I may go with this setup as it functions the best for the car specs.

Great job on the cover. That looks really clean and the vent makes it look even cleaner. I'm very happy with the way this project is coming along and the car looks sick with those tagu runs on and the purple accent. Great job x

Im pretty sure they just mean it is not brittle.. so it won't just crack. Probably just milled from abs or somthing.
