This car has been sitting for a while but I've been thinking of running it again.
Recently I put a miniZ MA01 board in my xmod truck but, I'm thinking the miniZ board might just be a bit more practical in this car since the truck doesn't really need brakes, plus since the miniZ board is smaller and a bit lighter it might be a bit more suited for the car. I think the truck will perform the same with the microT board, but the camaro might get a slight performance increase. What do you guys think, should I swap the boards?

hmm...well with my experiences with a micro-t board, i think it should stay IMO because it has 2x2 fets stock and the ma-010 board doesn't. they're probably won't be much of a difference in handling either since both are made for the same purpose. its your choice though since its personal preference to your likings around the track lol good luck! should be pretty sweet either way.

the biggest thing I was considering was the value of having brakes on the race car. Adding another stack of fets on the Z board won't be a problem.
Also the microT board has that pesky thermal shut-down, it already occasionally shuts down with a PN 70 turn. with the Z board and a double stack of 8962 fets, I could at least practice at home with a hotter motor, even though my club races with the PN70t.

oh i see i missed the part where you said you used a 70t motor lol i didnt think you would run your board that hot lol!! yeah then switching to the heftier Z board should definitely work then haha
