Update: Detailed tail lights & WIP brush guard.
Got the tail light lense painted. But I wasn't too happy with the result, so I tinted it a bit. Here's a comparison pic of the before and after tinted lense. Did a mock up on the truck. Still missing something, so I out lined it with some black paint. Now it's time for the brush guard. I ran out of styrene tube, so I had to use the part tree from the model kit.

Now this is by far becoming a much better and more detailed project than your Hilux! I think people who dislike this or say that this has been done before are wrong. You are improving your skills, and what better way than to perfect the small things that make it a whole lot more! **** good work Jason! I'm going to have to do this sooner or later... After I finish the frame dragging static model S10... Looking really good man! |

Update: Smoothed out the gaps on the brush guard.
Drilled out holes and ready to mount the fog lights on the brush guard. Installed front and rear wipers. Installed the windows.

Functional lights????
Those gaps on the bar look somewhat like they have been welded... I like! I can't believe how large those tires are... Good god****! They pretty much fill the entire wheelwell and then some.. It's really turning out great man! Wanna send this to me for a present there Jason... |
