i dont have to drive it to know its worhtless, i looked at it and could tell that, theres no place to put a ball in the bumper, theres no towing package at all on any ive seen, and who has ever respected a truck that is Front wheel drive, i sure dont, i cuss out ridgelines or their owners every time i see em just because they are so worthless, and they look like the asked an untrained monkey to design it, why the hell would anyone make a truck with a tailgate that doesnt line up with the bed sides, it doesnt make sense. that thing is worthless. end of story.

Well then go right ahead and cuss me cause I own a Ridgeline. Trailer hitch is mounted underneath the bumper to the frame. 5000 pound towing capacity. And as far as the tailgate not lining up with the bed sides that is for aerodynamic purposes. It cuts wind resistance as much as lowering the tailgate in a standard pickup. The front wheel drive Ridgeline rides and handles way better than a regular pickup while still doing the job of said pickup. End of story. Last edited by Lucky7; 07-31-2007 at 09:51 PM.. |

That's always the Japanese advantage. Handles better than the American equivalent. But a traditional truck is still, and always will be a longitudinally mounted engine, and when not 4WD, its RWD.
Trucks aren't designed to handle, they're designed to be powerful and torque-y, as a utilitarian vehicle, not a comfort/sport vehicle. I'm not dissing up the Ridgeline, I'm just saying that it doesn't follow "truck standards". Now if you guys want to continue about this topic, bring it to PMs, as this is the pixel car thread. |
