You should use the hummer chassis spacer, and get the second set of rear wheels as close to the first as possible, so they both fit under the bed of a pickup body (like the T-rex I posted a pic of above...)

having seen what you're doing, I'm tempted to do it myself...but I've got other potential projects first...

i went 1 better...i cut a truck wishbone down to about 1/4 of its original size. its maybe 1/2" in length . i lhad to move it back some because i needed to use a modded wishbone u-joint with the cut off back section of the battery tray.i needed all that to brace it so if you look at the pics closely...there is something under the wheel of each opposite side. it has true independent articulation. i may be able to move the rear drive up an 1/8th" or so.

it goes as fast as it can with 2 stage 1 motors....but i plan on getting some high torque motors so speed isnt a big thing for me.

and yes the main truck body has awd.

i was just looking at my truck without the front chassis on it....and was thinking it would be cool to turn its into an f-350 longbed if i end up not liking the 6 wheel performance.

keep the length just lose the 1st rear drive. id just need something to extend the center shaft to make it AWD

if you made it a f-350 just take off the 2nd to the last wheels and make a underbody cover up so you cant see the axles!!and you could find some doors from another f-150 cut it so you only have the back window and add it with the old windows so it would look like a f-350 crew cab like this model truck

yeah...i would just take that drive out completely and extend the frame to the front.i could even find a way to have the ep attach to the body so i could ditch that plastic tray as well, or just attach it to the frame. the only thing that would be visible underneath would be the new center shaft.

hmmmmmmmmmmm

umm yeah imo i think the 6th wheel is kinda stupid... use a f-350 model( ill find u one) and take out 2 wheels PLZ

EDIT!!! here... you dont need the daul wheels! http://www.hobbytron.com/model/FordF...delTrucks.html
