it looks like you did a good job on it. but yuck....I'm not a fan of the design.

Each to his own, I guess...

maybe we'd think better of it if the pics were worth looking at. but with them all pixelated and grainy, it makes your work look like crap. no offense, i think it looks like you did great work. but I don't dig the design. too flashy for me, but that's me.

hey frenchy, not trying to sound rude but it looks like you brushed the white.
brushes are fine for detail and pinstripes but for crisp lines you want to use masking.
it may just be the quality of the pics as you stated but i see what others see as well.
overall though its a **** nice paint scheme and good choice of colors.
for me its all about the effort, and you my freind get an A from me.
too often i see people using decals and vynils.

txs for the support
but as u can see in the 1st pics, i did mask the white with blue tape so that when i painted the black with the brush it wouldnt drip onto the white....
but ill remember that for future references

you did handpaint? Gotta use at least rattle-can, if not airbrushing (what I use almost exclusively)

But I also handpainted the green G35 I have and it came out just as good !

all the paint I use comes in little bottles like that. but I apply with an airbrush.

trust me, you will never get as good of a finish with hand painting, as you can with an aeresol can, muchless an airbrush.

i cant agree with this enough.
the absolute best finish is accomplished with an airbrush.
the reason is the air/flow/pattern control allow by airbrushing.
it allows you to get FULL coverage in less/thinner coats.
rattlecans can give you ample coverage but it takes a skilled hand and it can be easy to get carried away and apply too much paint in a single coat. this will take away from any natural detail such as body creases(doors/windows) and raised lettering/emblems(such as the mitsubishi "tri-diamond" pyramid or the ford "oval")

as far as brushes are concerned, like i said before. they are great for detail and pinstripes but any pattern larger then 3/16's of an inch will show brush strokes.
brush strokes are fine if you want to put 6 coats of clear with a wetsand inbetween coats.
seems to me that its much easier to just tape off the accents/graphics and spray them them, then apply 2 coats of clear.

Even though the paint is slightly rough...I have to give you major props cuz there's no way I'd ever paint any of my xmods...cuz I know myself and I'd screw it up somehow...lol
