Wow that turned out really nice. Not a big fan of green, but hey if it looks good, why not.

well this project is getting started over. after laying the dark green pearl, i went to mask it today for step 3 of the paint and the paint just came off in flakes when i was trying to make a mask line. come to find out the paint i grabbed out of the enamel section at my hs, was an acrylic paint. i dont know if this combination caused this to happen, i dont remember if i added thinner to it. if i did it was enamel thinner, so that may have caused this to happen.
i dont know. either was i am going back with and enamel on enamel paint job. so it might not be green for the 2nd color this time. i need to let the body dry off and do some more sanding before i can lay the base coat again.

well after the painstaking task of bringing it back down to bare, i got a few coats of chrome laid again. but i ran out of paint so i am going to have to go pick some more up. and hopefully i find the dark green pearl in an enamel.

Did you sand between coats? Sometimes it'll get so smooth that the paint won't completely adhere to the body.

do you have an air brush? i think it would be sweet if you found a mettalic green or whatever color you want to airbrush a little line from the bottom all the way around that fades almost like steam coming off water ya know but on the side of your car.
