it uses a whole new architecture that is different from the skyline, and it also uses a 3.7 liter v6 as opposed to the 3.5 inline 6 of the skyline, so it cannot be called a skyline. it's the same way with the hyundai genesis and the tiburon. just cuz the genesis replaces the tiburon doesn't mean that the genesis is a tiburon. that's because their architecture is different and the design was approached differently

It's not a Skyline. It's just Nissan GT-R.

Nissan Skyline - NO
Nissan R35 - NO

it's the replacement, but it's not a skyline because the two cars don't share any common architecture.
the 2009 GTR was never a skyline to begin with.

what deep dish problem?
you just have to know, you can't use deep dish on the fronts cuz the fronts have to be able to steer without rubbing. that' all.

Sorry to get back on this, but the chassis code for the new GT-R is CBA-R35.

But personally, I think you should do a light metallic blue with a flat white stripe that starts thin at the fron and gets wider as it goes back. I think that would look really cool on the new GT-R, and if you don't do it I will.

well, then it's an R35, but it's definitely not the old car's series( E-BNR32, E-BCNR33, GT-BNR34)
i still prefer not calling it a r35
