well if im thinking about this right,you could wire 2 stock battery trays togather and still have 6v (pos. to pos. neg to neg.) but if you wanted 12v you would run (pos. to neg.) and you would get a 12v pack but if you do it the way i first stated then it might be safe due to the fact your still only using 6v but you would have double the run time...i think

Is there a easy way to fix this with out repalcing the FETs?

Get a V2.2 for this. It can handle up to 30v. The NELLY maximum is 12v so that would be pushing it to the limit and I wouldn't gamble my money that way. You can wire 2 battery trays together without doubling the volts (parallel) Its a fine mod for a TRUCK.
