whats with the melted blob behind the cab?

that melted blob is hot glue holding the flatbed to the truck cab, im still working on a better way to match the two pieces together.
and Mr.hotrod, that never any fun, even tho fire is fun. still stinks. |

The mix-matched wheels are killin' it for me. Other than that, interesting so far.

well i have been working on the front end for a little, and got the front end mounted up! wheels sit pretty good, and theres full turn in them too.
heres the pics. you can see how much i had to cut of the rims to make them work, the rims are stock with in the back, and the fronts cut. alot. |

well i have yet another update, moving pretty fast on this. its got one coat of paint on it.
first pics of the unfinished body and finished chassis. now after sanding, and primer i have the first coat of color, blue, on the cab and bed. next steps after paint is to make a box around the glue on the back to look cleaner then to paint the bed a silver. more tomorrow. |

nice build the blue is not working for me maybe like a silver or something but great over all by the way how did you make those tires in the pic of the flatbed when it was dropped?

Paint's gettin too thick, it's losing it's body lines. Did you strip off the blue?

the paint did get too thick, so im gonna resand down just the cab, cause the bed is pretty good. and then repaint the cab black. so it'll look like a regular flatbed truck would with the silver bed, and diff color cab. I'm not that good at painting so every time i keep trying i get a little bit better each time.
